Main Duties

Amundsen Task Details:

• Complete a two-part audio recording task using Appen's proprietary mobile application:
  Part 1: Scripted

  • Read and record a provided script alone (15 - 18 short prompts).

  
  Part 2: Conversational

  • Engage in a natural conversation with a friend or family member. Topics and script guides will be provided (2 conversational scripts).

Duration:

The entire task will take approximately 1 - 1.5 hours, including reading guidelines and recording your voice.

Payment:

Earn USD 100 upon successful completion of the task. Payment is contingent upon your recordings passing our quality checks according to the provided instructions. The USD 100 is for the entire session, including both parts of the task.

Requirements

• Native speaker of British English: Scottish English accent

• Aged 18 and above

• Have a friend or family member who could assist with the conversational part of this project (any accent would be acceptable)

• Have access to a smartphone

This role is a project-based opportunity with Appen, where you will join the Appen CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from Appen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.

Salary: $100 (one-time payment)
