We are seeking experienced software engineers who would like to lend their coding expertise to train AI models. Our projects focus on training AI large language models to write better code, with no requirement for previous AI experience.

Opportunity

Freelance opportunity: Remote and flexible hours

Contribute to training generative artificial intelligence models

Main Duties

• Crafting and answering questions related to computer science to help train AI models

• Evaluating and ranking code generated by AI models

Requirements

Desirable Expertise:

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution

• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages:

  • Java

  • Python

  • JavaScript / TypeScript

  • C++

• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English

• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines

Payment

Average pay rates for core project work by Tier 3 coding experts in Estonia: USD $32.5 per hour

Rates may vary based on:

• Expertise

• Skills assessment

• Location

• Project need

• Other factors (e.g., higher rates may apply to PhDs)

Non-core work may have lower rates; incentive payments may also be available.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform.
