Luganda Transcription Specialist

Overview

We are seeking native Luganda speakers with transcription experience and strong English reading comprehension skills to participate in an exciting transcription project aimed at improving human-computer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio files carefully according to guidelines.

• Respond to feedback quickly and make necessary corrections.

Requirements

• Native Luganda speaker

• Transcription experience

• Strong English reading comprehension skills

• Ability to commit 3-4 hours of work per day

Compensation

Project Period: October to December (3 months)
Compensation:

• $30 per valid audio hour for Annotators

• $20 per valid audio hour for Quality Assurance (QA)

Opportunities for Promotion:

• Start as an Annotator

• Advance to QA

• Become a Supervisor (limited to one)
