Audio Collection Project (Adults)

Overview

Each participant will be asked to record the following:

• Prepared text reading (provided by us) – Approx. duration: 9 minutes

• Freeform speech (we will provide the topic and notes: 30% of the sentences should include 1 or more entities, like names, numbers, dates etc.) – Approx. duration: 9 minutes

• Voicemail speech (we will provide the scenario and notes: 30% of the sentences should include 1 or more entities, like names, numbers, dates, etc.) – Approx. duration: 18 minutes

Main Duties

Each speaker:

• Must be a native speaker of Dutch (Netherlands) or Norwegian (Bokmal).

• Must own a desktop computer or laptop.

• Must have built-in, wired, or Bluetooth headset.

• Must complete a demographic survey to apply.

Other Important Information

We will provide guidelines and instructions, so you understand what to expect and what to do with the project.

A signed consent form is required when participating.

Note

Due to the nature of the project, you MUST be a native speaker of one of the languages stated above in order to apply. If you are not, please do not apply or your application will be automatically rejected.

Our projects are very popular, and we receive hundreds of applications every day. We would love to reply to all of them, but it is sometimes impossible to do so. For this reason, if you haven’t heard from us 7-10 working days after submitting your application, you can consider it rejected.
