AI Writing Evaluator (Tier 2)

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. Are you an experienced English writer who would like to lend your expertise to train AI models?

Responsibilities

• Reading English text to rank responses generated by AI models

• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking

• Assessing the factuality and relevance of text from AI models

Requirements

• Experience as a professional writer or editor

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline

• Strong writing skills with excellent English-language spelling, grammar, logic, and reasoning

• Attention to detail and an ability to evaluate text effectively

Compensation

Core project work pay rates:
- US contributors: Average $25 USD per hour
- UK contributors: Up to £19 GBP per hour
- Canada contributors: Up to $34 CAD per hour

Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project need. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Incentives may apply on certain projects.
