Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. We are looking for talented writers with fluency in English at a C1-level or higher to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
Responsibilities
Reading English text to rank responses produced by an AI model
Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking
Assessing the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models
Requirements
Experience as a professional writer or editor
Enrolled in or completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline
Strong writing style, exceptional English-language skills, logic and reasoning skills
Attention to detail and ability to evaluate text objectively
Compensation
Pay rates for core project work average USD $7 per hour in South Africa. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project need. Incentive payments may be available.
