About the Role

Shape the future of AI in the Mandarin language through this freelance, remote position. You will leverage your expertise to train AI models, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content in Mandarin.

Main Duties

Educate AI: Analyze and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs to improve accuracy and real-world application.
Problem Solving: Offer solutions to complex problems in Mandarin, including checking spelling, grammar, and enhancing creative writing.
Red Teaming: Identify biases, limitations, or inaccuracies in the AI's knowledge base and conduct tests to ensure its outputs are reliable.
Create your own working hours depending on project length.

Requirements

Enrollment in or completion of an Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Native-level proficiency in Mandarin.
Strong writing skills with excellent English spelling and grammar.
Ability to articulate strengths and weaknesses of written text.
Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or in related roles.
Interest in AI and machine learning concepts.

Compensation

This is a freelance position compensated on an hourly basis; it is not an internship. Candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence; no sponsorship is provided for this 1099 contract role. Compensation rates may vary for non-US locations.
Pay Range (rate per hour): $15—$150 USD.

Remote Work Structure

Alignerr operates in a hybrid model with dedicated hubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro Area, and Wrocław, Poland, encouraging collaboration while supporting remote work.
